Proprio come succede alle fanciulle nei suoi libri.

Tra Mesa e Joel il colpo di fulmine è immediato, cosi' come la loro attrazione fisica che non fa che aumentare nel corso dell'intero romazo.

Ora Mesa ha sotto gli occhi e nel cuore il protagonista del suo nuovo romanzo, lo sarà anche della sua vita?

Questo è un libro divertente, passionale che si legge tutto d'un fiato e che regala momenti spensierati, non vedo l'ora di conoscere anche gli altri cowboy della famiglia Young, che saranno i protagonisti dei prossimi libri della serie.

Nel cuore di un cowboy

Jeffery Young è stanco delle donne e dei loro inganni da quando la madre di suo figlio gli ha spezzato il cuore, lasciandogli ferite abbastanza profonde da bastargli per una vita intera. Adesso deve vedersela con l’architetto ingaggiato da un’impresa edile per spazzare via i ranch locali e sostituirli con le loro case. Non se lui riuscirà ad impedirlo, però.
Anche Terri Kennedy ha i suoi progetti a cui pensare. Lavorare come architetto per un’importante impresa edile a Bandera, Texas, potrebbe essere l’occasione giusta per farsi pubblicità, ma il suo contratto non diceva nulla riguardo a un certo testardo e ostinato proprietario terriero della zona. Forse andare a stare per un po’ nel suo dude ranch potrebbe darle qualche indizio su come trattare con il Signor Idiota Testa di Legno. I segreti che Terri nasconde impediranno a Jeff di far breccia nelle sue difese? E lui imparerà a fidarsi di nuovo delle donne, o farebbe meglio a stare al gioco per scoprire cosa lei stia tramando?

Eccoci con il secondo volume della serie, questa storia ci presenta Jeffery Joung e Terry, due personaggi che piu' diversi non si puo'.

Lei è un architetto, che ha di fronte a se l'occasione per fare cariera e non intende farsela sfuggire, ma per fare questo deve avere a che fare con Jeffery.

Lui è un padre con un figlio da crescere ed una ex moglie inaffidabile che gli ha spezzato il cuore.

Da allora Jeffery ha chiuso con le donne, di loro non si fida e non vuole legami stabili, cio' che gli interessa è solo il bene del figlio.

Due persone totalmente diverse, che hanno interessi totalmente opposti, ma che si scontrano tra loro.

Jeffery è molto legato alla propria famiglia, al ranch in cui vive e non se ne separerebbe per nulla al mondo, Terry ha come unico ostacolo alla cariera questo sexy, testardo e diffidente cowboy.

Le premesse per una grande storia ci sono sin dalle prime righe e devo dire che l'autrice anche stavolta come nel primo libro non ha tradito le aspettative, regalandoci un romanzo divertente, romantico e passionale...
